July 4 CDC Community Engagement

For years the Kiwanic Club has been responsible for coordinating the booths at the July 4 Columbia Lakefront. Unfortunately, this year there will be no booth at the lakefront so your Columbia Democratic Club will be participating in the July 4 River Hill parade.

The parade starts at 9:30 a.m., so marchers are asked to assemble at 9 a.m. at the Clarksville Middle School, 6535 Trotter Road, Clarksville. Parking is available at Pointers Run Elementary School, just across the street.

I hope you have a wonderful July 4 and can find the time to help support our local elected officials in this parade!

Howard County Election Summary Report (Unofficial Results)

Howard County Board of Elections

Ken Ulman48880 53.38%
Chris Merdon3853542.09%
C. Stephen Wallis4119 4.50%

I have heard that there are about 10,000 absentee ballots for HoCo. That would mean that ALL of the ballots would have to be for Merdon for him to win. Congratulations Ken!
