Potomac Primaries Go To Obama

Yesterday was an exciting day for voters in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. as they had the opportunity to make a significant contribution towards chosing our next President. While both leading Democratic candidates maintained energetic and effective grassroots campaigns, ultimately Barack Obama won in both States and the District by large margins. Senator Obama now has a narrow advantage over Senator Clinton's convention delegates. The number of delegates held by each of the two leading candidates promises to make the next few primary-voting States and the Democratic convention very interesting!

CDC February Meeting CANCELLED

Dear CDC Members:

As you may be aware, the Columbia Democratic Club has a long-standing
cancellation policy that emulates the Howard County school system.
Due to the recent weather, Howard County schools and evening activites
have been cancelled today. As a result, the CDC membership meeting
scheduled for today, Wednesday, February 13 membership meeting will
also be cancelled.

Instead, we will meet next month on Wednesday, March 12 at 7pm in the
Jeffers Hill Neighborhood Center.
I hope that this does not cause any inconveniences and we look forward
to seeing you next month!
