Howard Community College HCC has 6000 full time students and
13, 000 who attend part time. They are very supportive of voter registration and give new students (about 1000 a semester) a voter registration form in their orientation packets.

We still need help staffing the following Howard Community College voter registration dates:

Saturday, October 2nd from 10 am to 12 noon.

October 4, 5, 6 and 7 (M,T,W,TH) from 5:30 to 8 pm.

We are also doing a day schedule, but believe we will have that covered.

All the HCC events will be in the Burrill Galleria. HCC will provide a table and chairs. Please bring table signs, forms, pens, voting brochures,etc. as for any voter registration event.

As previously mentioned, we--CDC--have been given permission to "set up" a voter registration table, on Saturday, Oct. 9th at the River Hill Village Center [Giant].
At this time we could us assistance--at that location--from 12 noon to 2 pm.
We--CDC--have [also] arranged to do telephone banking to benefit the Kerry/Edwards campaign, on the following Monday nights, from 6:30--9 pm, at the campaign office located at 7050 Oakland Mills Road, in Columbia:

Monday, Sept. 13th; Monday, Sept. 20th

Monday, Sept. 27th; Monday, October 4th; Monday, Oct. 11th;

Monday, October 18th; and Monday, Oct. 25th.
If you, or anyone you may be aware of, is interested in assisting us for an hour or two (2) for voter registration, in addition to volunteering to assist on Monday evenings, please either telephone or e-mail me.
